I am pleased to offer you an introductory watercolor workshop...
Watercolor is a technique I enjoy using, even though I'm not exactly an expert in all its secrets. It's a very fun technique, with simple and easily accessible basics that yield more than satisfactory results.
This workshop will introduce you to the basics of watercolor painting and a few little tricks I use in my own practice. Together, we will create either a floral motif (Tipanier) or a plant motif (Monstrosa or Uru leaf) on A3 watercolor paper.
How does the art workshop unfold?
The workshop takes place from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The proposed dates: October 25
Please specify the date option that suits you when validating your basket using the notes tab.
We will first do an exercise to discover the basics of watercolor before moving on to the creation of the final watercolor on A3 paper.
I will guide you step by step through each stage, including practicing basic techniques before moving on to creating your watercolor. No special artistic skills are necessary to complete your artwork, as I will guide you through the drawing process.
You will leave with your artwork, and with, I hope, the memory of a moment of calm and creation.
Why watercolor?
Watercolor painting is relatively simple for beginners and allows you to achieve results quite easily. It's a way to dedicate time to yourself, to concentrate, to relax, and also to let go... It's an art form accessible to everyone, especially since I will guide you with suitable tools to allow you to add a Polynesian and personal touch.
What to expect?
Materials are provided (special watercolor paper, watercolors, brushes, etc.).
To offer you a special moment of relaxation and creativity, places are limited to 8 people (minimum 5 people for the workshop to take place).
For your convenience, refreshments, tea and coffee will be available.
Why am I offering this workshop?
Painting has been my passion since I was very young. I am convinced that we all have creative potential that we bury in our daily lives... Dedicating time to painting, to creating, to taking a break is, for me, an essential path...
How do I register?
By email, by private message, by phone... A payment of 5000 XPF will be requested, preferably by bank transfer.
You will receive my bank details and a follow-up email after confirming your order through this website. Once your registration is confirmed, I will send you an email summarizing the workshop details and schedule.
If you are unable to attend, it will be possible to make up the session during subsequent sessions, subject to availability. However, please notify me 48 hours in advance.
Where does the workshop take place?
The workshops will take place in my new premises, located on Lane 3, in the Punaru'u Valley. It's a white corner building, 1st floor. A map and details will be sent to you by email along with my bank details.
